What It Does
OW News Feeder is a chart indicator for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 that downloads the weekly economic calendar and:
• Draws vertical lines on the chart at news event times (color-coded by impact: red for
high, orange for medium, yellow for low)
• Displays a dark-themed dashboard in the bottom-left corner showing the next 5 upcoming news events with a countdown timer
• Automatically disables/re-enables Auto Trading around news events to protect your EAs from volatile price swings
• Auto-detects your broker’s GMT offset — no manual time configuration needed. Just install and it works.

News Data Source
The indicator downloads its economic calendar data from Investing.com (via the Forex Pros tools API at ec.forexprostools.com). This is the same data source used by Investing.com’s popular Economic Calendar page.

The feed provides:
• All major economic events for the current week
• Event timestamps, currency, impact level (High / Medium / Low), and event names
• Coverage across 17 major economies including the US, EU, UK, Japan, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, China, and more
• Data refreshes once every 24 hours automatically. The first load after attaching the indicator may take a few seconds.

Note: An active internet connection is required for the indicator to download the news calendar.
If the connection fails, the indicator will retry on the next refresh cycle.
